Learning, One Garden at a Time

GG Youth Programs

Youth gardening, particularly in a school garden, comes with its own set of rewards and challenges. Discover how Gateway Greening staff and programs can help teachers, parents, and other youth garden participants take their PK-8 grade students outside and into the garden!

No matter how long you’ve been gardening, there is always something new to learn (or share!)

Explore the different educational opportunities Gateway Greening offers for St. Louisans.  Our classes are free, open to the public, and held on Saturdays at our Carriage House on Bell Ave.

Running a community garden can be a lot of work, but we’re all in this together!  From constructing a build-a-bed to engaging youth outdoors, our list of resources provides useful information for the garden.
